I admitted not too long ago that my Cameo sat in the box for four months after I purchased it. Yes, it is true. I was not sure I really would use it. I was definitely intimidated by what everyone else could do with it. And I did not feel like I had the time to learn something new. So it sat in the box in the hall outside my scrapbook area for four months. I finally broke it out because my sweet husband seemed insulted that it was still unused.
So now it is out and I use it often enough. Usually words and title help, but that i really what I wanted it for. And I'll tell you, it has been a lifesaver for me. Who knew, not everyone wants Thickers on their pages!?!?!
Speaking on Thickers, I was asked to use my Cameo and some American Crafts cut files to create a couple of pages. Here they are...
Even better, I could use my Cameo and Thickers! Yay!!!
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Cameo. I got one for Christmas. My sweet husband, such a generous dude! :) I'm taking a class online by Kerri Bradford, and I feel a similar intimidation as you did. I'm hoping I can overcome it. I love what you're doing with your Cameo pages. You've inspired me, so thanks.
ReplyDeleteI just got a Cameo, yesterday, for my birthday. I'm still trying to convince my hubby to return it. It's totally intimidating, and I don't know that I can possibly get that much return for the investment. Sigh. but your pages are absolutely gorgeous and totally inspiring! TFS!
ReplyDeleteI've had the Silhouette for years and of course now I covet the Cameo but I'm going to have to hold myself back..use what I have first, right?? You've done fabulous stuff with your Cameo..love these pages!
